These are some test screenshots from my personal project “Urban Slums”
This project is still work in progress, all textures need further tweaking and meshes need cleaning up.
The scene still lacks verticality, I will work on it after finalizing my assets first.

Method:
First I created two building blocks in Maya with different facades and roofing, then I placed them together to form a bigger building complex. After that I added smaller details like the stone bricks, neon signs and pipes to make it less repetitive.
Then i moved the building complex to UE4 and duplicated and arranged it there for some screenshots.

Goal:
The goal for this project is to create a blueprint in UE4 which randomizes building blocks out of an array of smaller detail meshes. Then use these to create an amazing environment.
